Last week, I posted the books I wish I read in 2017 and now that the year has officially come to a wrap I wanted to share with you my top 10 romance reads! Another year in the books my friends. I hope you stick around for 2018, I have lots planned that
I think you will enjoy!
Someday Girl by Julie Johnson
I don’t even have the words to properly define this book. Katherine Firestone has transformed from a self doubting girl with little to no confidence in herself into a brave young woman who isn’t afraid to express herself and go after what she wants and most of all what she deserves.
Pucked Off by Helena Hunting
Pucked Off was so much more than over the top humor, we still have some because Violet is still a part of the story and Vi is just as hysterical as ever. Lance’s story brought the angst out. Lance had a rough go of life leading up to where he is now. He is sweet under his tough guy exterior.
Royally Matched by Emma Chase
Royally Matched was romantic and funny, actually laugh out loud funny and I didn’t want to put it down! These two had a slow burning fire and passion between them that made you want to spend every moment immersed in this story.
Where Good Girls Go to Die by Holly Renee
Where Good Girls Go to Die, just blew me away! It felt so real and authentic and I need more right now! When you read a new to you author you never really know what you’re going to get it, you know like a box of chocolates…
Hate to Love You by Tijan
Hate to Love You is a classic Tijan story. It is everything I expected from her and more. I know this book will not be for everyone. It deals with some difficult, hard hitting issues, but a lot of Tijan’s books do deal with them. It has a dark feel to it because of these issues. But that will not keep you from falling in love with Kennedy and Shay.
Let’s Get Textual by Teagan Hunter
Let’s Get Textual is hilarious and at times I felt like a voyeur reading Zach and Delia’s text exchanges. This story is exactly what I needed, it fresh, witty and different from everything I’ve been reading lately. And dang it. I WANT A BABY GOAT!
A Little Like Destiny by Lisa Suzanne
A Little Like Destiny is love triangle angst to the nth degree. I was unsettled and had nervous anxiety throughout the entire book. I felt the urge to puke on numerous occasions, yet I couldn’t seem to stray far from the words that were turning my world upside down.
Cuffed by K. Bromberg
Cuffed devastated me in ways I didn’t expect and left me in tears and a book fog when I had to put it down. When I stepped away from the story, I felt as if I was still in the story and I was experiencing what they were. I was sad and just had a strange lingering feeling around myself from the story, I was literally stuck in a book fog that I couldn’t shake until I finished the story.
One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus
Oh, my goodness, gracious! I was hooked on One of us is Lying from the very beginning, I had to know who killed Simon and how! The only times I actually put this book down was when I had to be a mom. I should have sent my son to his grandparents the day I picked this book up!
Are any of your favorite reads a match for my top 10 reads of 2017? I want to hear them just comment below!
Great list! Lance was on mine, too (and I just realized that I forgot to put Henry on my list… oops)!
