Typically when I read a novel where the heroine is a private detective things lean more toward the comical side, but this new novel from Laura Griffin is definitely going to skew into the dark and gritty side and I for one am here for the ride and unraveling why someone wants to kill Kira!
Temper by Layne Fargo
I’m going to be frank with you, I’m not really sure what is going to happen in Temper, but it feels like it’s going to be a juicy, unsteady read that is going to keep me in hanging in limbo!
A Merciful Promise by Kendra Elliot
The final book in the Mercy Kilpatrick series, is sure to keep you on edge, with not one, but two cases. One case is leading up to a terrorist attack and the other is looking like a serial killer, with Mercy willing to risk her life to keep everyone safe.

It’s like reading a ghost story in a way, the main character vacations in a house that a girl had been killed in years before!
