There’s a fine line between lust and hate.

I don’t care that Drew Merritt spent the last year transforming himself from grungy slob to sexy playboy. With messy, dirty blond hair and gorgeous eyes, his looks aren’t the problem.

His mouth is. And the stupid things that come out of it.

But after an emergency strands us together, and he does his damnedest to take care of me…

Let’s just say there’s one thing we don’t clash on.

And it doesn’t involve talking.

I’ve despised Drew since I met him years ago. One weekend can’t change us that much, can it?

Spoiler alert: It doesn’t.

Except he left me a little keepsake.

And in nine months, I’ll have a surprise for Portland’s most notorious player.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

I couldn’t get enough of Surprise, Baby! The fact that my all time favorite trope is right there in the title didn’t hurt things either!

Surprise, Baby is the companion to All About the D also from Lex Martin and Leslie McAdam. I confess to not loving the first book mainly because there was a ton of sex, and although I sometimes that’s what need when I read it that didn’t work for me. With Surprise, Baby I didn’t have a single complaint.

I’ve been craving a a great surprise pregnancy romance novel and man did this check all of my boxes! The chemistry and attraction Drew and Kendall was off the freaking charts. From the banter in the beginning when they can’t stand each other to when they get stranded. It. is. perfection.

I loved seeing the transformation of Drew, from his gluttonous lifestyle to him learning to care and respect his health, that not only changed his health but his lifestyle. His maturity was sexy as hell.

Surprise, Baby had me in stitches, my stomach curling from anxiety and sympathy pregnancy feelings, my heart broke for both Kendall and Drew at different times throughout the entire story. This enemies to lover surprise pregnancy romance is freaking gold and I enjoyed every second of it!
