Sizzling Surprise Pregnancy Romance Novels

Confession. I will use the search function on my kindle and look up ‘pregnant’ on 95% of the books I read. If it were up to me there would a pregnancy in every single romance novel. I seriously crave surprise pregnancy in stories. Perhaps I’m projecting how I want my life to go having had a surprise pregnancy myself. Maybe it’s because I have an extreme case of baby fever myself and this is the only way to satisfy my womb?
I love the way I feel pregnant right along with the character. I don’t know how many times I’ve felt like I myself had morning sickness right along with the heroine or would start to crave the same thing as them. It’s almost as if I inhabited their body. Their stress became my stress because it’s just so real for me. I am pregnant with them.
I’m not alone in this am I? You do this too, right? Please tell me I’m not a freak! HAHA!!

The Coaching Hours by Sara Ney!! Not only was this story a surprise because we thought that this series was over then, like Sara got pregnant with a little book baby SURPRISE, we get Eliot’s book!! And that quiet, steady non-douchebag of a man went and blew up all of our ovaries! Well technically we didn’t all get pregnancy, but see above, I get pregnant with the character. So when Anabelle becomes with child I feel what she feels, but she feels like she can’t tell Elliot because she didn’t find out until after he moved to a different school and that’s just not something you can tell someone over the phone, amiright?
That’s something HUGE! Massive and terrifying for a single college girl who gets pregnant by her friend! Gah! Just remembering it all makes me feel so pukey!
Do you know what makes surprise pregnancy even better?? Finding out and then the book is over and you are just sitting there, knowing that she is pregnant but you can’t do a dang thing about it but sit there stunned because this book is a duet and you feel like you are just sitting on that toilet looking at the pregnancy test. The Girl Duet by Julie Johnson did this to me. It had me sitting there in stunned silence. Lucky for you, the entire duet is released and you can binge read them. (This book taught me to search the word pregnant going in, so I’m not so blindsided.)
Know what really upped the surprise in these books? IT’S A LOVE TRIANGLE! AHHH!! YASS! I was seriously freaking the EFF out when I found she was pregnant. It was also kind of glorious, because… I secretly love the angst and wondering what the heck is going to happen. The anxiety, all the thoughts of the characters, and the not knowing what will happen next! GAH! YES!
And last but not least what about in the Kathleen Turner Series! This is amazing and heartbreaking and Earth shattering!! Now, just so you know. She doesn’t get pregnant until the 4th or 5th book, but it is worth the wait! Once again, we have a love triangle. Side note: I’m also a sucker for these. So when Blane finds out that Kat is pregnant and it’s not his, I was gutted for him, because it’s basically a slap to the face, you know… since she is pregnant with his brother’s baby! *gasp* #teamblane fans are grabbing their pitchforks!
But those of us who had been #teamkade from the get go… Yeah girl, you know where we were like hallelujah!!! That’s my boy and he has some winning sperm! Whoop! That is until, the evil uncle finds out and threatens to destroy everything, so Kade goes and incites my reader rage!! Once again we have these Team Blane fans over here like, see girl? I told you!! But anyway, as much as I want to give you the play by play and ALL the spoilers, I’ll just tell you that the moment Kade sees the sonogram is pure freaking GOLD. Be still my heart. This man, Kade Dennon, will always and forever be my number one book boyfriend!

I also love a surprise pregnancy, but I don’t go searching for it in my eReader. Lol! Even in baby making books, I want her to get pregnant right away so i can experience her pregnancy right along with her.

You’re not crazy at all! I am constantly on the search for books similar to this. I like pregnancy that happens early on too! I’ve read so many & still want more. Please share more books that have this trope!!! I want more haha
