He’s a cocky musician.

She showed up at a bar in her pajamas.

Is he stalking me?

I call it fate.

He’s cheesy.

I prefer the term romantic.

Maybe I was wrong about him.

I’m determined to make her mine.

I fell in love with him.

She’s my muse.

Life has other plans for us.

I’ll fight for her.

I’ll protect his image.

I miss her.

I watch his success from afar.

She’s mine.

I need to fix this.

I’ll give her the kind of love found in country songs

When you read a book by a new to you author you aren’t ever really sure what you will get. But, I am so glad that I took a chance on Lovin’ On You by Fabiola Francisco! Fabiola actually wrote lyrics for some of Cash’s bands songs, and let me tell you… this girl can write lyrics not just novels… I swooned so hard!

First off, I would like to tip my hat to Cash and Olivia, for the most part this couple had GREAT communication, and if you have ever read romance, you know that often times this is lacking in relationships, Lovin’ On You was a breath of fresh air for me.

Olivia, is strong, independent and sassy and I just adored her.

“Never underestimate the power of daisy dukes and cowgirl boots.” ← This is my real life power outfit, just sayin’.

She was his Cash’s muse from the beginning and that is the sweetest thing, I don’t think that any other genre of music could pull this off like country music.

“She was my muse from the beginning, and she will be until the day I die.”

The faithfulness these two have to each other, even when they had their issues was amazing and I loved it, I’m so glad they didn’t go off an do something they would later regret.

“Jealousy makes people ugly and hatred makes them insane.”

And this my friends was the ugly truth from this book. This character, which I’m not going to name names, was a total tool. He has some deep seated issues that we don’t get to quite delve into, but he sure did make the story more interesting.

Lovin’ On You is the perfect country song kind of love, from the love to the heartbreak and back. If you love country music and sweet romance, this is the book for you.

“She’s the perfect song and I want to be the one to write it.”
